Tiffrum Allouette

At 8 I got my Morgan Mare given to me and we sold Jazz to have room for her. Allouette is a 15.3 hand Liver chestnut with silver mane and tail Morgan Mare. She is now 19 years old. I did everything with her. She was huge but I enjoyed riding her. The first time I cantered on her was bareback. She used to have the slowest canter in the world, back then she was so lazy. Then something changed and she decided she didn't want to canter at all anymore and then when we finally got through all the bucking and trotting before cantering she decided to make it very fast and now that is what it is. She is now a very hot horse with lots of energy even at age 19. Of coarse back when we first got her she was like 200 pounds over weight. Now she is always kept just about right. She has never liked to show although I have been showing her through 4-H, since I was in 3rd grade. The reason I think she doesn't like to show is because in her first show she was burnt by hot coffee an audience member spilled on her. This was when she was a 3 year old and she wasn't shown again until I got her.
We just recently gave this horse to some very nice people who we know will love her and take wonderful care of her. I showed her for 9 years in 4-H and rode her in Pony Club for 2 years. I did everything with her including Jumping, driving, showmanship, halter, western, gaming(barrrel racing), and bareback. I always enjoyed hopping on her bareback without a halter or bridle and riding her around are property. Even after having knowone ride her for 2 months this summer, while I was gone, I came home and rode her with no halter or bridle the same day I arrived and she listend wonderfully. We sidepassed, jumped, backed up, walked, jogged, trotted, extended the trot, cantered, did figure 8 and serpentines, and all with no bridle or halter, she is just a wonderful horse. My goals with her over the years were to make it to state, do well in open shows, get her going slower, teach her to set her head, learn to jump, Learn to drive, etc. I feel that I have been very successful with my goals with her although she is not totally consistent all the time.
